Top Rope & Lead Class

  • Certification:

    • No certificate or accreditation provided after the course.

  • Duration:

    • Top Rope Class - 3.5 hours, 1 session

    • Lead Class - 2 sessions of 3.5 hours each (scheduled across 2 Mondays)

    • Practice Class - 3 hours, 1 session

  • Instructor Ratio:

    • 1 instructor to 4 students

  • Price:

    • Top Rope Course: $83.93/pax (GST incl.)

    • Lead Class: $158.05/pax (GST incl.)

    • Practice Class: $70.85/pax (GST incl.)

  • Syllabus Highlights:

    • Top Rope Class: Focuses on the use of Assisted Braking Devices (ABD) in an indoor gym environment.

    • Lead Class: Covers fixed quickdraws, v-chain gym anchors and the use of Assisted Braking Devices (ABDs) in an indoor gym environment.

    • Practice Class: An interactive and flexible session focused on advanced climbing and belaying techniques, best practices, verification prep, and the latest equipment in a collaborative setting.

SNCS Courses

  • Certification:

    • SNCS Level 1: Level 1 E-Certificate issued upon meeting standards.

    • SNCS Level 2: Level 2 E-Certificate issued upon meeting standards.

  • Verification:

    • Includes a 1-time Verification Fee Waiver voucher.

  • Endorsement:

    • Syllabus is endorsed by the Singapore Sport Climbing & Mountaineering Federation (SSCMF).

  • Duration:

    • SNCS Level 1 - 7 hours (includes a 1-hour lunch break).

    • SNCS Level 2 - 2 sessions of 7 hours each (includes a 1-hour lunch break per session).

  • Instructor Ratio:

    • 1 instructor to 8 students

  • Price:

    • SNCS Level 1: $103.55/pax (GST incl.)

    • SNCS Level 2: $185.30/pax (GST incl.)

  • Syllabus Highlights:

    • SNCS Level 1: Introduces Assisted Braking Device (ABDs) use; focuses on meeting certification standards.

    • SNCS Level 2: Covers clipping quickdraws to fixed protection points (indoors and outdoors), setting up sport draw anchors, and using outdoor fixed anchors.
